Web 2000 seems to have a particular problem - he is one angry person who believes that everything Canadian (read "white" is evil. That said as long as he keeps calling this country, society and systems evil, he will continue to be unhappy. He pays his taxes- but that is no good reason to live in this "imperfect society". He should find solace in his home country of India.
He will be at peace finally & will have no reason to complain. He will find the happiness, that has eluded him in Canada.
Agree.
Wouldn't it help immensely if one lives in a place where he/she can actually be happy? Regardless of zillion opinions about I vs C, which no one will "win", how about evaluating what would make someone happy and content?
There are numerous good career opportunities available in India that one can live a good life if he/she feels that is the right place. I don't see a point being continually unhappy and mad.

I am appalled at the what some write here - they don't seem to understand how important good communication skills are, to integrating in society here. Let us face it...... this is not a perfect society, nor are we as Indians.
For the most part many of us still depend on mainstream society (if you want to call them "whites", to make a living. We are quite unlike other communities like the Chinese or Korean, where you can survive without good English language skills because you integrate into these societies itself and make a living.
Web 2000 seems to have a particular problem - he is one angry person who believes that everything Canadian (read "white" is evil. He rants incessantly - but yes he displays a "sense of humor" when he says
" BTW, if knowing English was enough then the born Canadian will be the boss everywhere". It's funny and doesn't make sense. Perhaps he needs to go to Japan, Korea, and Germany where the majority use one language to communicate - be it German, Japanese or Korean.

10 = 35
which means an Indian of 10 yrs of age has same common sense as of an American of 35 yrs age. Please don't take it personally.
Hard not to. Indians are not better than anyone else. Its sad that people need to think they are better/smarter etc.
Whats wrong with being just as good as everyone else?
Web 2000.......... for a moment, let us forget this argument about happiness and sorrow. As a member of your community, what have you given back to society - be it time, effort or leadership? Have you tried to volunteer at the local food bank or the hospital? Have you done any community service?
Before you jump your guns, I have - and I continue to do my bit to society.
Even so, I would rather focus more on what else I can do than expect everything to fall on my lap
As far as going back to India is concerned, well you really don't have to - but think of what this society has done for you...... This imperfect, discriminatory, racist society has turned a happy positive person into a cynical, unhappy and sore person.
It is not arrogance, when people say that unhappy people should go back - It takes many generations to transform society into what might be the "ideal"one for you...... I am not sure, it is worth waiting that long!

Well, it is not difficult to prove. I see the above equation true everyday.

Americans = Canadians?
Just wondering since the explanation of 10= 35 is that indian of 10 is the equal of an American of 35.
