Hi fellow canadian desis,
I am new to this forum and hence would like to get some advice from the seniors.
I have already made my first landing in October 2009 with my family and come back to Dubai.
Now I plan to bring my family in April 2010 and get them settled in an appartment in mississauaga. Then I go back and work in Dubai. Once I settle my things in dubai I will join my family here. Presently I am earning well in Dubai but I want my kids to start there life here and my wife can work in canada.
My question is, is this a good idea. Suggestions requested.
Also if my family has spent the 3 years in canada out of 5 years, they get the citizenship. But can I also claim for the citizenship if I have not stayed the 3 year period in canada.
Please help

Quote:No, you will need to meet the residency requirements for PR.

canada wants immigratns to work in canada not to milk out the benefits of free education, medicals etc. im sorry to say that immigrants like you bring bad immpresion for other immigrants. you want to eat two kukis at a time by earning good in dubai and bcome a liability on candians by sucking out the resources of canada.
sorry if im a lil hard but this is the fact.
Hi I am totally suporting Son of India that if some one not fully prepared to migrate they should not apply for immigration and can not understand how some people give more important to money instead of living with their family in one of the best country in the world (Canada).
