Hi,
Can anybody please suggest me how many days it will take for sponsoring wife's application from Canada to reach India (ie New Delhi).
I have checked CIC and also got through one of the query ask in charcha that it takes 35 days.
Say for eg if a person has post to CIC missisaga office in Canada on 1 of Nov and reach them on 2 of Nov. How they are going to calculate the no the days?????
Do they take 10 working days to update (ie 10+35) or from the day they have received the application form (ie 2 of Nov).
Kindly guide me if possible.

On their website it says thirty days.
35 days seems reasonable from your findings on the website. All of these are based upon the date of receipt, not the date of mailing. Unless couriered, no mail reaches the very next day. If it does, be surprised.
The criteria for updating is determined by the officer who receives it and then goes through it in detail. All of the above depends upon how meticulous and thorough the submission to them was. Your projections are within reason and so you can expect all of these after they give the submission a file number and respond back with the same. I do not know any other way of checking all of these without a file number. Now you know.
