Please help in answering a small query for me. For Example : If someone arrives in Canada on March 1, 2010 but leaves on Mar 30, 2010, he will be having arrival stamp in Canada of Mar 1 but arrival stamp in India of Mar 31(assuming if he reaches India before 11:59 pm). Now as Canada doesnt put stamp on departure and will consider arrival stamp of India as reference to count 730 days for PR renewal purposes, will Mar 30 be considered as a day counted towards residency in Canada. Some person working at airport told me that Mar 31 will not be considered towards day in Canada, which itself means tht Mar 30 would count towards 730 days. Please confirm if you know about this, as it will help me calculating mine days, as I had 4 trips in 4.5 year period.

When you leave Canada, the airline employee should have swiped your PR card. I heard swiping your PR card will automatically enter details of your exit from Canada into CIC database
Just calculate the number of days that you lived in Canada instead of going by stamps put by India, etc. Otherwise you will be showing 726 days that you lived in Canada as 730 days.

You are splitting hairs, but anyhow, it's the date that you depart Canada.
Where you go after that, when you arrive, etc. does not matter.
If you took a ship instead of a flight, you may reach India after 4 weeks 
So just count until the date you depart Canada.
