You are already aware that due to recession and bad economy, jobs are difficult but not impossible. Your positive attitude is very admiring. Then you should take caution that, cd's are warning you not to be over confident because we have few cd's I personally know who are QA software who are working on hourly rather than in their own field because they couldn't get jobs in their own field for more than 6 months inspite of their having canadian education and experience for more than 10 years.

You are welcome to try and if you are lucky then you will get job in no time.

all the best. God is always with people who are hardworking.

Recently I met this Gora who was working for Bell Canada as Tech Support Agent who was laid off along with about 200 of his coworkers and his job was relocated to India.

He was pissed off at me and started telling me that why are guys coming here and taking the Native's jobs away?.

I guess I could have asked him how would have the aborginals felt about losing their land to this goras forefathers?.

But I did not, but the moral of the story please be prepared for further offensive and in your face response/attitude.

we have the same issue in our backyard itself. I guess every one know about Maharastra opposing UP/Bihari's as they r taking up their opportunities, same is happening in Andhraprades where TRS is demanding seperate state claiming that rest of andhra people are taking their jobs.
Hence its natural that these goras will feel for us.
Well by saying that i had a similar experience recently when i knocked up my former employees door after long vaccation.
Most of the jobs were outsourced to TCS and one of my ex colleuge is politely cursing that "desi companies are taking our jobs back to india and leftovers are being taken by canadian desi's"..lol
as a matter of fact in IT its naked truth though..
well..every one is fighting for their existence..no heart feelings on these comments and just keep doing the work.
my 2 cents
