Hi,

I am looking for an answer to my queries as our decision to relocate to Canda depends on them.
I will be entering Canada with Open work permit. I am working in Enterprise java/wireless software field outside India having 5+years of exp. with 2 masters degree.Currently i am a software architect.

What is the job market in this field? Is non-canadian experience considered for such openings?

In IT -yes to certin extent. In other field- very rarely.

Yes, I was able to get a break without Canadian experience, although I had about 6 years US experience. Nobody asked me for Canadian experience.

I feel that good expertise in enterprise Java, wireless etc should help you land in a reasonable amount of time. You may not be able to land a job as an architect right away, though. This is just a generic answer, and individual experiences may vary.
