Hai every body. I found canadian desi, a very useful site esp. for new immigrants. Now my question is, I am basically an Agricultural Post graduate from India having 20 years of service as an officer in a public sector bank. I am 43 years old. Can any body give an idea about job market in Canada in the above two fields. If so, which is the right place in Canada to settle in the above professions. I am not interested in any particular place. I want to give priority to place of good oppurtunities rather than big cities or so. Please don't tell about labout jobs, as I had heard enough about them. Further after landing, whether pursuing higher education in my field / any other field will it be a better option, rather than doing some labour jobs. Please suggest.

Why do you want to give up a good job and come here? It is going to be tough finding jobs in an agriculture field. In banking field, be prepared to start at the bottom. Think twice before moving to Canada.

Manitoba and Sasketchawen are the provinces to explore agricultural jobs.

Indian expirience or qualifications do not mean much here.

You will have to go back to University. But at age 43 i do not know if you will be able to attend full time .

what are courses I can do there? Can I get loan for that?
