In Canada there are no exams like elsewhere. Till Grade 8 students are assessed throughout the year with class tests which is nearly every day. From Grade 9 70% of total marks are through class tests and 30% are from Exams. Projects and assignments are also marked and these marks are added to the final evaluation. Students do not require private tution because they are supposed to do their work according to the teachers. Teachers stay long after school to help out the kids. There are no Board Examination like India.
