Hi there,

Since the Ontario Govt is introducing full day daycare system in the schools from Sep 2010, what are the implications on the private daycare industry and job opportunities for people with ECE qualifications?
I am guessing (could be wrong) that a lot of the private/pop-mom daycares would be either forced to downsize or close down eventually.

Any feedbacks from people who are in the same proff. would be welcome.

Do you mean full day kindergarten? Well, I am not sure if it will shut down private daycare altogether or affect drastically, since lot of kids under 4 still require day care facilities.

Maybe. I hope it doesnt affect the job market for ECE's drastically.
