A little bit off topic, what do you mean by a decent job ? financial rep, financial analyst, investment banker or research analyst ?

I believe you will have no problem getting a financial rep. position with your CSC. As for the others, you will need an MBA or some sort of accounting/finance designation.

First and foremost, in every thread alomost, people tell that they have come for the sake of their children here. Your children are young and you are young yourself, so you have achieved target of getting citizenship, naturally your children have already benefited since they are also citizen.

Secondly, almost everywhere, if you pay you get good education for your children or you yourself being qualified can educate your children.

thirdly, you still have good chances of getting good job and making a good career in India or anywhere for that matter since you are just 33.

Fourthly, You may have noticed that, people get stressed and worried if they don't have jobs for 2-3 months, since you cannot save much here. So, if you go to India or gulf, you can save half your salary even if you spend lavishly.

Your children are too small, so they can grow up in India with good culture till they are 8-10 years old, whereby they will ahve discipline, and family values.

Your decision to go back is good and please go with right attitude and since you are citizen, you can come back any time.

wish you all the best. Please pm to me if you need help with the job in financial areas esp in Mumbai.

Hi Manucandy 2001,

It is a difficult decision whether to stay back or go to India.

However there are certain aspects which needs to be considered, as under:

1. Will it be an easy task to get a respectable job in India after spending a considerable time abroad, moving away from Indian experience?

2. Will it fetch a considerable amount in India to get into an entry level position, for subsistence?

3. Will your children get the same level of education? If yes, won't it take a while to fit into the Indian education system? Specially with children, it becomes a problem while transferring.

Regards,
AAA

As others have indicated it is a very hard decision to make because you have to consider so many factors. As someone with a finance/banking background, you likely have tried very hard to find work in an financial institution or related setting, I assume. Have you tried elsewhere in another province?

this is just my opinion but I think you need to give consideration what you really want for yourself and your current family (your wife and children). Your parents have to make their own decision and i dont think you have to give up your dreams/plans/ideas for them.

This doesnt mean you value them less.
