I was surprised to see Barack Obama as well Bill Gates on Linkedin network

It says I can get connection with this people through my existing connection

Are they 'Real' Obama & Bill Gates OR someone created profile for them

Also surprising is - Obama has more than 500 connections while Bill Gates only 5

Wow!

Nowadays companies and people are blocking their names on social websites to avoid misuse. You should not be surprised to see those names.

I think Obama's profile is real profile. One of my friend linked up with him(actually it was operated by his campaign office) when he was an under dog candidate during the initial days of his campaign
