Sansa Clip is good, it's compact and easy to operate.
But I could not charge it on a computer's USB port when I took it to India.

When the battery runs out (or for editing songs) you need to connect it to computer for charging. When I tried to do it while I was India, the computer did not recognize the MP3 player so I could not charge it.
It could be the operating system but I suggest you check and make sure that Future Shop will take it back if you can't use it in India.

Is it possible the computer you were using in India did not meet basic requirements? May be Media Player installed was older version than 10?
