I need to buy a decent IPod as a gift. Basic model should be ok, not expensive. Can someone please suggest one?

There is only one brand called Ipod made by Apple, Ipod shuffle is cheapest but no LCD display.

Do you mean a basic decent MP3 player? Also something expensive for me may be cheap for you, so better suggest a price range.

I am told to get an IPod or MP3 that can save more songs (100+) and where the selection can be made looking at the list on the screen. $60-$80 range.

I have been using this for about two years now - very good and very easy to operate (acts as a external hard disc, and therefore very easy to transfer to and from)
