I am PR in Canada with pakistani passport, I need to go to states for 3 days over the weekend in May to meet my sisters. Do i need to apply for visa or can i just drive to the border and they can process it there?

You have to apply for visa.

Yes, you need to have a US visa before entering US. But make sure that you have met the Canadian residency requirement before departing Canada. Or else you won't be let back in.

u need to go online and book an appt. This gets u a scheduled date for a Visa. It normally takes 2 months ...
