Hello,
I am a Canadian citizen living in southern US on my Husbands TD. I recently got a job and want to apply for TN. Wondering if I can apply from Mexico/US border.
Let me know if anybody has obtained TN from Mexico. Looking forward for answers ASAP as I have only 1 week to get the visa.
Thanks in advance.

As a cdn citizen, you need not go to any US consulate as there are no visa requirements. You can simply go to a US port of entry with all appropriate documentation and apply for the TN status. And yes, for that, you can visit the US port of entry anywhere along the US-Mex border as long as that border post will process TN applications. Once again, you are not applying in Mexico, rather at a US port of entry along the mex border.
Freddie - the info you have provided applies to Mexican citizens that require a stamped visa for the TN or any other status.
Hope this helps.

Requirements for Canadian Citizens:
Canadian citizens usually do not need a visa as a NAFTA Professional, although a visa can be issued to qualified TN visa applicants upon request. However, a Canadian residing in another country with a non-Canadian spouse and children would need a visa to enable the spouse and children to be able to apply for a visa to accompany or join the NAFTA Professional, as a TD visa holder. To apply for visa, please see the requirements under the section Mexican Citizens - Applying for a TN Visa - Required Documentation.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other.
They seem to be the same for both. BUT if you have to cross the border or be closer to the crossing areas nearer to Mexico, then some of the addresses are provided in the postings.
Hope this helps.
Freddie.
