Problem in installing Kodak ESP 5 Printer s/w

Printer was working fine until i formatted hard disk, now when i try to reinstall the driver and software, installing will stop at same point all the time. i can not able to use this printer. Could any one have idea, why the software is not installing.

1. Software/Driver CD is in good condition
2. Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop
3. Win XP Home SP2

If you go to Device Manager (My computer->Right click->Properties->Hardware->Device Manager), do you see any exclamation marks?

I see u hv Service pack2. First of all install SP3 and all the updates and then try installing canon software . also make sure u hv .net 3.5 and above installed.
