I am looking into buying a crib and stroller etc for a new born and am not finding much at wall-mart, zellers or ikea. Are there any other outlets or specialty stores that specialize in selling baby furniture ? I am looking for any information possible as that would help. thinking of buy furniture particularly for new born (esp Crib and stroller etc) - any CD users aware of any wholesale outlet etc, where one can get a good combination of price and choices would be ideal

As a new parent myself, I would advise you NOT to go in for cheap/used/outlet items, be careful against cribs/strollers/car seat, check against any recall by the manufacturer. (car seats have expiry date)

Babies r Us has a decent collection, but in US you get more variety and a lesser price, again check against duties/tax/Canadian regulations


Remember it is your kid give the best you can! (Edit - I re read your post, not sure whether it is your kid, but anyways the advise holds good!)
