Try http://www.freecycle.org/ and narrow down to the city or your choice. It is a movement to give things off for free to save them from going into the dump. You may wish to check it out.

This is a really good site along with craiglist.org. Makes it easier to decide to take an unfurnished home and then take up furniture at real cheap rates as and when something comes up

Just wondering, buying is cheaper from used furniture; but what about transport.

anyone have idea, where to find cheap mover who can charge very less just for 2-3 furniture...

or buy new at one place can be same as Ikea.. give you in 65$ 25 items at home..

please help
