Dear All,

As process of parents sponsorship to Canada take good 5-6 years.Please help me with below mentioned queries.

1) Can one call parents to Canada on tourist/Visit visa?
2)If yes, then what is the minimum criterio of PR to apply for tourist visa or visit visa for parents?
3)What is the duration of stay allowed in this visa?
4)How ofter can this be applied once expired and parents complete stay?

-Your parents can apply for a tourist visa. You can send the visa officer a letter stating that you wish to have them visit and that you can see to all their needs on thier stay. You might want to submit a copy of some document (others can guide you better on this) to show that you have sufficient funds to look after them during their stay.

3)What is the duration of stay allowed in this visa?
Not sure.

4)How ofter can this be applied once expired and parents complete stay?
-The visa is usually valid for a time period- one/three/five years. Once that visa lapses they have to apply for a fresh visitor's visa.
