If he tries to come to Canada, earn and save money and then go back and buy property, the house price would have doubled and his savings in Canada would not be good enough to make up for the appreciation in property and lost savings in India. He seems to be finance illiterate.

Thanks Nightmare.

I just asked suggestion, and I accept your point and now looks the thing in different prospective.

Let's have positive and healthy discussion. Rather then saying this person is stupid blah blah blah.

We have this forum so we can share thought as some people are expert on finance and some people are not.

So while we discuss we can be benefited by expert opinion.

i wonder if he is of your intellect what does he call you?

Stop typing if you wish to only ask questions & not help & have nothing nice to say.

Gosh people like you... Grr...

I have no clue why " dudewheresmycar" is behind me. chill man everybody has different opinion and different condition in life.Let's have healthy discussion rather then calling each other looser or something.

Why will I mess with you or anybody. We have this forum to discuss the different topic. Not All the topic is fascinating to All.

Lets have some respect to another Indian rather then calling them Loser. Even if other Indian is loser will it make you feel proud ?

Silicon Valley ,

I think 30 L is a v good package even in India and India offers greater saving potential ... ( as you have availability of cheaper options ) .

How ever if you decide to come abroad esp to Canada to earn and live a while working as a Consultant / Contractor for 4 years can make you earn what you would in 8 yrs in a 94K job .... Plus you get an opportunity to save on taxes ...

There s no harm in coming here for 4 yrs gathering your ( and your family's citizenship ) .... leaving lifelong option open for them as well. And earning also in te mean time ........

You might have to live frugally for some time but then you can carry back a good bunch of money if you don't consume it here and also may be these 3-4 yrs can help you decide better and for good also ...

All the best !!

Thanks for wondering fido.. i guess u will keep wondering, and maybe u need to get ur taste buds checkedout..

U do realize if every person starts posting a thread here with his salary and a open agenda , we will probably have atleasts 200000 topics one for each user, who created a account on this site..

I dont think i need to rub it into people by making threads on how much i make.

The OP elicits response from people and when he finds people are posting countering arguments he starts taking offense and make personal attacks..

Maybe I missed that DWMC , but where did the OP make scathing personal remarks ... like yours ..... ?

Not every one posts individual sal and when they do , may be they need suggestions ...... this does not mean all the 20K users are posting their sal details ... Honestly I did not find anything offensive abt his post or his query ( and I m sure most of the readers did not ) ......

If we dis allow such queries / posters asking for genuine advice , it would be lot less like what Canadian Desi forum is about ...... Unless we find posts to be unsavory , outside of decent acceptance -- there s little reason to discourage some posts .... If I do not wish to add on to a post ... well I do not add anything .... there may be others who wish to ...
