Renting 1 BR apartment in North York, Toronto

Hi,
I am new immigrant to canada and am looking for 1BR apartment for rent in North York(preferably) area. Since I don't own a car so I am relying on public transport to take me to my work place.
I need inputs from people(bug problem, nearness to subway esp imp in winter) who stay near or at these apartments to finalize the lease.

1) Royal Hill Apartments
34 Leith Hill Rd North York GTA , ON , M2J1Z4

2) Bonneville Tower Apartments
24 Leith Hill Rd North York GTA , ON , M2J1Z3

3) Fairview Apartments
25 Leith Hill Road

4) 30 Esterbrooke Avenue

5) Hunters Lodge
2600 Don Mills Rd. Toronto, Ontario M2J 3B4 (this by far looks the cheapest by rent but area is less)

Any suggestions would be great help to me.

Hi
Try appartments opp Faieview Mall and by the Don Mill Subway station,
this area is really very convinent especially for the new immigrants without a car, I had stayed here in my initial days after landing in this country.

Hi!

Welcome to Canada! I hope you find much success and happiness here. It looks like all of the apartments you have listed are in fact right next to Fairview Mall and Don Mills subway station.

This area is a very popular one for many new immigrants as it has a lot of apartment buildings and many amenities nearby. Relatively speaking, it is definitely much safer than other similar popular areas, such as Keele & Eglinton, Jane & Finch, Jane & Eglinton, Kipling & Dixon, etc. I think the closest grocery store to you will be Food Basics, which is around a half an hour walk, or a 5-10 minute bus ride away at Don Mills and Sheppard.
