Hi All CD's,
We purchased the Panasonic 80GB HDD camcorder from 2001 audio video couple month ago.
http://www.2001audiovideo.com/product_info.php?cPath=49_143&products_id=5793
I downloaded the movie and picture from camcorder to my PC, but now when i am making movie through NERO its going only on WMA file and its doesn't play on regular DVD player at home.
Actually my parents came here on visitor visa and now they are going back on this weekend. We visited so many places like Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, etc... Now they wants to go back with sweet memory about Canada. but unfortunatly i am not able to make DVD or CD for them which they can play in India on simple DVD player.
Sure i am doing something wrong, i tried googled but won't help a lot. If someone help me or show the process to do this will help me a lot.....
P.S. : i am not a computer person that's why it is difficult for me, yesterday i spend more than 2 hrs but failed......
rgds
What is the extension of the file name created by your camcorder?
WMA is Windows Media Audio. WMV is Windows Media Video. If it is WMV, then it should be straightforward as in http://www.tech-faq.com/how-to-burn-a-wmv-to-dvd.html

An easy way to do is to buy a DVD player/recorder with a hard disk. You can transfer from your camcorder to this DVD recorder with normal RCA cables and then create a DVD just by entering a couple of commands and it is quite fast. Then you can play it on any DVD player.
If you want, I can sell you my used one (Pioneer with 160GB HDD) for $50. It does not have a remote but you can record movies or shows from the TV directly into this recorder and than either watch it when you want it like a PVR or create DVDs out of this.
