Does anybody have any idea where one can light up some fireworks for Deepavali in Brampton. I am aware of the city prohibitory measures and bylaws against such fireworks, but still hoping there's a place to celebrate the fireworks.
Thanks
Brampton is the only city in Ontario where legally you can do fireworks on streets near your home.
To hold a personal fireworks display on your property it must be at least 60 feet wide at the front (side facing the street).

While in GTA(except Brampton)you have to go to temple where you can do fireworks in designated area.
Chekram_04, I know about the regulation you mentioned. I am out of luck as I live in a neighbourhood with narrow houses and roads. The city has banned fireworks at school playgrounds, parks and such public places. I was hoping if there was a gathering place in an open area where we could go and do fireworks.
i read in a daily somewhere that nov.5 is a day where brampton is officially
allowed to
light up diwali crackers ,does anyone have any idea where and what time this
event takes place
