thats gracious of you to apologize but it was not needed. It really seemed like an unintentional posting , you were trying to maybe make members aware that there are such sites out there .

It is good that the link is now removed but it opened my eyes to the fact that there is such a movement going on in Canada . It is a matter to be concerned about. Esp in light of some attacks on minorities in GTA area in the past few months.

It is true that the face of Canada and US is changing ...many respected authors are writing about it ..."the changing face of the west" by Pat Buchanan is one such book...it is really eye opening, it is not an anti immigrant book it highlights how immigrants have contributed over the years but also tells about how the changing demographics will affect the face of the "westerner" in 20-25 years .

We immigrants look different but have made great contributions to the western society and at the same time are torn between protecting our identities while trying to get into the mainstream ...it is not so easy ........ for that i have high regard for our Sikh community. they have not given up their identity and still have managed to be successful and have even gotten into armed forces and other services of this society.

We immigrants are here for a great cause .... not just to make a better future for ourselves but also to make the society we live in a better place.....desis in high places in all walks of life is a living proof of this fact.

This is our new home and we can only make it better.

My apologies too. My posting was totally in a light vein, not meant to be judgemental. ......but not being in Canada..I did get a wrong impression...though that is no excuse.

I agree that these sites are racist propagations and should not be encouraged as they are not the true picture of the society.....I appreciate the alertness and fairness that the moderators of CD have shown
