When using these electronic blood pressure machines in India, keep in mind that there is a difference in reading between the traditional mercury based machines still used in India and the newer digital machines.
My parents were confused for several months when they first starting using the electronic machines, until we confirmed with the doctor and did research online and found substantial studies and evidence on the Internet about the difference in readings.
