If you are using Windows to send fax, you do not need to have internerational call facility, just buy a $2.5 India calling card, use it as you use them to call India.

Just to answer/clarify. I don't have a fax machine, and don't want to buy one.

1) The documents are confidential so dont want to scan and send them to you. Thanks for the offer, however.

2) I only have a cell phone, so not sure how to connect it to the comp and use windows xp to fax. However, an interesting piece of info.

3) I will check with Canada post and UPS store and update the canadian desi forum

You can also go to staples and they would fax them. You do not need to buy the machine from there. They have fax services available.

Most of the convenience store will do this for you - charges should be around -1-2 $ per page.

I just saw on skype (extra feature from skype) that you can send fax from skype too by buying their credit. I have not tried it but looks a great feature. You can look into it.

If anybody has tried skype to send fax, please provide its pros & cons.
