Hi,
Myself & my wife are here in Canada on a Work permit. We applied for PR (buffalo office) on March 2003. After the initial acknowledgement, there has been no communication so far. I came across this forum through a search engine and happened to read this thread. A member here says that it has taken him 4 years and has not received the PR yet.

I am really confused (an ofcourse nervous) after reading that post. Could someone please advice me if 4 years is a normal processing time in buffalo.

four years is too long. a lawyer can go to court and force the embassy to make a decision.

12 months in your case is still acceptable for Buffalo
