Since when did Canadiandesi film awards become Hindi ONLY.
If we see National awards in India NO hindi movie wins the best film or music or yaadi yaadi yaada.
The best movies usually go to malayalam, tamil or telugu.
The best acting also goes to Kamalahasan or Mamooty or Mohanlal.
Most of the movies in Hindi in 2010 have been remake of tamil movies.
Hence if you call the above listing of Canadiandesi film awards - Hindi Section I'll accept the listing.
Hrithik and the Khan company do not stand a chance in front of movies like Paruthiveeran, Veyil, Kalavani, Maina in tamil anytime.
Hrithiks acting in Guzarish should be compared to Javier Bardem and then you will know the class.
While the hindi guys win Filmfare awards the tamil movies have been winning the Cannes or British or Russian movie festivals.
Recently a film produced by SP Balasubramanian son SPB Charan Aaranya Kaandam starring Jackie Shroff won the best film award in New York film festival.
Hence Hindi movies is Not Equal to Indian films all put together. If quality is considered they are way down the bottom in comparison to tamil, malayalam or telugu movies.

Majority of the people here watch hindi or english movies ... so it is not rocket science that you find mostly movies in these two languages. In any case no one has stopped you from posting your list ... go ahead knock yourself out !!!

Really you believe that ... hindi films have been winning national and international awards for a long time now .... even before RajniCant was born !!!
FYI Kamalhasan , Mamooty or Mohanlal have not won best acting in last ten years so don't know what you are talking about. On the other hand Anil Kapoor managed to win a national award .... Jakaass !!!!!

I did see Ishiqya .. nice movie .. but don't think vidya balan "blew me away" though she is a good actress.

OMG! Read some previous posts almost feels like people are doing everything to divide....
Anyways! wall-E I did not see Golmal 3 so can't comment.
