Guys,

I am a new grad and have a job offer from a company called Ciena (erstwhile nortel) for which i need to make a decision soon.

The Company seems to be posting a loss for the last year, may be due to its acquisition of Nortel's MEN (metro ethernet networks).

Being a new grad, I do not have the sufficient knowledge or understanding of the industry to see if it would be a good choice to make. I would really appreciate if any of you could help me in making my decision.

I would also like to know

1) if this particular industry is in loss?
2) How's it to work at ciena?
3) whats the future of this company?
4) what should i look for in a job and the company before i accept an offer apart from the usual pay, relocation, benefits etc - I am a new grad and i look to work in an innovative work environment.
