Hello masoodji,
I applied in Dec 2001 for PR & received AOR in May 2002 and mean time I changed my job, subsiquently informed CIC NEW DELHI. Unfortunately, that company is under loss and didnot pay salary & allowances for more than 3 months & 6 months respectively. Now if CIC contacts my company, will there be any problem to me, if they say that I am not into company pay role (I have not resigned till now nor company asked me to resigen)? I am expecting decision any time from CIC NEW DELHI, COZ I have completed almost 39 MONTHS?
Thanks in advance!!
Infact I received Form no.16 for the first year and for the second year, I have not received Form no 16. I have got all the proof like appointment letter, salary slip and PAN card, have already submitted CIC New Delhi. Presently working but not company appointment.
You must have filed your Income Tax Return by now. Did your company issue FORM 16 ?
If yes, then that is a proof that you served in the company.
Other alternative is to change job and again inform CIC. Assuming it is possible to find another job.
However if company is not paying anything for long you will have to change job in any case.
hey,
Can u tell me that is the income tax form imp. coz i just wrote my 2 emplyers name from india that i worked there for about 16 months i have submitted all the docs except the income tax stuff. by the way i applied for immigration from canada...
If you were drawing a salary which was taxable, and not in cash/black , the employer must have deducted tax before giving you salary known as TDS (tax deducted at source). After end of financial year (say around 30th April) he has to issue a certificate to you for that deduction which is in a specific form known as FORM 16.
That FORM 16 is adequate proof that you had worked for the period and you were paid salary for that. That is enough for CIC.
Any questions that I can answer?
Where is your "non-paying company", India or Canada?
Hi Thakkar,
If you have written complete and correct name and address and contact persons for the companies you worked with and you have all documents like appointment letter, salary slips, relieving letter /experience certificate; and you have submitted copies of all these, you are OK.
The facts you write in form should be:
1. Backed by documents
2. Verifiable from source
There should not be any misdeclarations/suppression of facts
Then you are OK. Cheer up.
