Hi San_Sai
Congratulation for obtaining TN VISA
I also have same background as yours, MBA(MIS) from states, B.SC(PHY) from INDIA and work in USA for 3 years then moved to canada. Can u pl. guide me what steps you took to get TN1.
ONCE again congratulation
PL Check you PM. REPLY me ASAP i also have job offer from US employer
thanks
All information in this thread. I would like to add some more points:
1. Make two sets one original and one for copies. In my case officer wanted to make copy of all papers degree and experience/offer letters( above 200 pages). I was carring copies of only degrees.
2. Remain very very orgnized. Keep paper and copies in good order.
Easier for officer so getting TN will be easy for you.
3. Any degree from outside north america get evaluation report.
I dont see any problem in your case if you have TN letter from a good company, avoid small desi companies.

Thank you SAN_SAI For Quick reply ,
Did you hire any lawyer to prepare employer letter. I'm thinking of hiring one. Also I dont have evaluation report for my Degree from INDIA. Is it necssary to evaluate my degree of B.sc from India? Did you qualify under System Analyst occupation
please reply this questions and I will make my move to get my TN VISA
Many thanks
No, I did not hire any lawyer. I contacted one but the way he behaved I did not like.
You definitley need degree evaluation report. DO NOT GO WITHOUT IT.
If you have offer letters and/or experience letters from well known companies and able to face interview without making any mistake, I do not think any problem getting TN.
I got offer letter and TN under Computer system analyst category.

I got my employee letter today with title of " Sr. Software Engineer" is that going to work. My background is MBA(MIS ) from united states and B.sc(phy) from INDIA.
Please give your thoughts.
This title could get you into trouble. Because of the word "Software", it gives the "programmer impression" and there is no TN category for the programmers.
It is better to use the Computer Systems Analyst title.
