I tried but could not. Best I know is to upload the pic to album and provide a link here.

I have some funny pics to upload but don't know how to embed it in my post. Some cd members do it all the time. Can somebody guide me how?

Half the fun is lost in putting them in album and then providing links.

You can google for image hosting sites. You can upload your picture anywhere and enclose the direct link in this format without any spaces [ IMG] www. example. org / 1.jpg [ /IMG] .

But I guess I did not make my question clear enough. Sorry. My question was about embeding pics in my post on canadiandesi.com, lets say I want to embed an image in this very post, how to do it? The instruction on how to post an image on this site when you are starting a new thread is "6) For posting IMAGES, please use ALBUM section on this site and paste the link in the message."

That would just create a link to the image. Some cds embed images as part of their post. Example is http://www.canadiandesi.com/read.php?TID=30062 where I uploaded the image as per the instruction above but then ashedfc
embedded the same pic in his/her post and so did mcg7.

Please follow RAJ's instructions and you will be able to post the pics here, in your post.

I have never tried it myself, but know this is the process.
