Hi Group
I am currently working for a company in the US on TN permit. I have recd a good offer from another company and I would like to take that offer.
-Now how do I go abt getting a TN permit for the new job.
-Is there a possibility of a situation where they cancel my current TN permit and refuse my application for a new TN permit.
-What is the best strategy to approach this situation.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You get the new TN the same way you got the first one. Procedurally, nothing is different.
Well, a little bit of candid chat with the TN officer might help. You may explain to the officer that you have not given the resignation notice at your current employer pending successful receipt of the new TN. In other words, you will continue with the current employer until end of TN term if your new app does not go through.
Typically, every application is looked independently. That means, if the new app is rejected, you are allowed to keep the current one until it expires.
However, there's no better strategy over the other. You just have to try it out. Good luck.
