Also can also buy in castlemore area.( airport-gore)
Within brampton public transport is well connected.
Kids school are all okay. Just make sure u put your kids in high school in private.
You will miss weather of vancouver.

Thanks infocan. Do you know something about Milton? How's the commute and the neighborhood?

Does anyone have any reviews for Milton. I am looking to buy a semi-detached between $300,000 and $350,000. Is it a reasonable budget for a 2 or 3 story semi? Also, how's the neighborhood w.r.t. schools, community centres, and shopping in Milton? As well as, commute to Brampton? Please let me know if I could buy a semi within this budget in Mississauga as well. I am basically looking for a decent neighborhoods in Milton, Mississauga, and Brampton (in that order).

Is there a direct Go transit from Milton to Brampton and Downtown?

What neighborhoods would I be looking at or research. My criteria is:
1. Good ranking elementary schools
2. Close to community centres, such as parks, libraries, swimming pools, shopping centres.
3. At most half an hour drive from my work in Brampton.
4. Near public transit (Go and local transit)

Don't know much about GTA, so inquiring. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Infocan. Really appreciate your feedback on Brampton.

This forum is full of people from GTA who I assume (from their previous posts) might be living in the areas that I inquired above (particularly Milton). But, no response whatsoever. Not a single soul that commute from Milton to Downtown Toronto via. transit and knows the traffic conditions first hand?

I am doing my own research as well, but finding out information from the people who went through it, always helps a bit.

Thanks so much for all the help.
