Bhootnath , till now the jokes were being told in all good spirit , but your above post is bit derogatory. No matter how good your intentions are to joke around but motive behind that term used for sikhs is indications that how hindu children are brought up in India by their parents to make fun of other religions. Children may be ignorant to start using 12 o clock term but being used by a mature person shows his clear motive and lack of knowledge of history of punjab and punjabis. That term was originated by same ignorant meek hindus of that time who were protected by Sikhs. A True warrior mind who understands what happened that time will never use that term.
We are living in different times today, minds are more opened ,we have seen the world , communities are suppose to understand each other better and jokes should be told only in spirit of it !
Hope you will revert your thoughts.
BTW , I like your sense of humor which is one of the best among all CDs here :-) .
Lets revert back to Pundit Santa Claus Singh's jokes , the character which we thought is not targetting any community :-)
One for a Friday... the 13th....
An injured Santa Singh went to the Dr for treatment. The Dr said - You need stitches. It'll cost you Rs. 8000.
Santa's jaws just dropped - He told the Dr - Doctor sahib stitches chahiye, embroidery nahi (Dr. I need stitches not embroidery)

I understand your opennes and concern for Sikh community..Look at the previous post from infocan which he changed from Hindu to Hindi..anyhow..As I cleared in my previous posts Sardars are known for their bravery but there are some fanatics who are taking the jokes on their religion which is never the case. No one jokes that a sikh did this or sikh did that..they talk about a character Sardar..santa Singh. Sikh religion itself is known for tolerance and bravery.
If a Sardar cannot handle joke how can he be tolerant to face injustices, he is not true Sikh. The sikhs that I know and respect have big heart, known for their courage, humour not bitch around about some nonsense jokes.

..and Pdt. Santa Singh returned back home to ask jeeto to do the embroidery !!
