We ( Family with a baby) recently moved to Canada and are looking to rent a place which will be a 10-15 minutes transit to Markham. So far we have seen and finalized a property located at Morningside avenue (Finch E/ Staines rd and morningside intersection). Is it a safe place to live? I am hearing different opinions from different people.

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated?

You will hear mixed opinions for the area you have mentioned.. What I believe is that it is a safe neighbourhood as long as you yourself don't behave/act unsafe.. I have friend living in that area since last 5 years... no complaints..
