he is not telling of bags but rather big suitcases.
I doubt if it can be fitted but seniors are telling OK so I will belive them as the last time I saw the interior of a CRV was in 1998 which was my bosses car in Malaysia.

Two suitcases in standing position on the laid down seat behind driver.
rest of the two in trunk area.
in case you have clothed airbag kind of big suitcases its easy , take out some of the stuff (clothes) before adjusting the suitcases into vehicle and put the stuff back on reaching destination.
