My mother is visiting Canada this month from India. She has a return ticket in the month of October. If she goes to USA in between this trip for 3 months, will she be admitted back in Canada. Will there be any issue???

It depends on what kind of VISA your mother has to Canada .
if it is multiple entry VISA she will be fine but if it is single entry then she will not be admitted again back into canada .

The above scenario might be correct only if your mother is travelling by air. If she crossed the border by land...one can enter US as many times as he/she wants (Of course...it also depends on how the US Officials consider that visit).
My mother had single entry Canada visa, she went to US twice as my sister lives in US...No issues
In fact it depends on if she has a multiple entry to US.
If she has a single entry to US she can come to Canada and go to US once and re-enter Canada - does not matter air or land. However if she has multiple entry to US she can visit US multiple time and re-enter Canada as long as it is before the expiry date stamped at the port of entry.

If the country is US , There should not be any problem even for single entry visa , CIC has made an exception in such cases - here is the rule ::
For Single Entry Visa, There are two exceptions: you can visit the United States or Saint-Pierre et Miquelon and return to Canada without getting a new visa, as long as you:
a. return within the initial period authorized by the immigration officer or
b. have a valid visitor record, work permit, study permit, or a temporary resident permit (authorizing re-entry) and return within the initial period authorized by the officer.
