There are many masons in India who are very skilled but they don't know english/french and there are many educated professionals in India who do not have any experience of how to do labour work.
So the question is how to find a mason who is skilled as well as educated.
I think Canada should abandon its immigration system but pay attention to work permits like in middle east where one manager/supervisor who is educated will control n number of uneducated skilled labourers. This will solve all shortage of skilled labours.

Strangely, in this day and age of internet and Google, if the so called 'Highly Qualified Professionals' are so easily misguided by a foreign country's website claims, then I strongly doubt their high qualifications or the lack thereof.

Yup. We also have Lalitha who is hell bent on coming to Canada though many have told her that it will be very difficult for her to get a job.
Luckily the silver lining is that her husband is in IT and he will get a decent job very soon.
But what about people not in IT?
