I checked on CIC website, I read NOC metrix also.
It is clearly mentioned that the codes starting from 0 are considered under Skill level 0 but they also indicate that the second digit corresponds to their level as mention by you for Skill level A and B those are 1 and 2-3,
But I wanted to be sure for 4011 that falls under skill level A or 0 as it contain 0 in second digit.
I am postdoctoral fellow working as chemist (basically I am Analytical chemist), I found two category for the same 4011 and 2112.
Also confused, under which category I should apply.
Check the link

According to this matrix, both 4011 and 2112 fall under Skill level A.
Please provide your guidance.

Take this example and also the challenge. '41' will take you to the EDUCATIONAL Group and '21' will take you to say, APPLIED SCIENCES.

A few of the jobs are regulated. Not the University Professors Posts. They are at the discretion of the Governing Body. Salary level for a start will be higher, or different too. When they hire you, they will do so at the minimum required level of entry.
If you do get certified, I will think, which is very easy at the doctorate level, you will find it an added advantage when the yearly increments are applied to the post. It will be automatic.
So, evaluate the post. Most of them call for a Masters Education. For a Doctorate you will find the '41' code will be more appropriate.
You will have to do the salary analysis first to derive better emoluments.
FH.
Thanks
I checked, I am eligible under 4011 and my skill level is A.
As mentioned on CIC web, 7 band is necessary to apply for PR,
my question is
can someone apply with 6.5? and mean time will clear the exam for 7 and submit the result.
is it possible ? do they consider such things?

I am glade to have your response.
I am here in Canada since 2012. I just wanted to know if someone has experienced such things before.
Which one is good for IELTS IDP or British Council ?
