Ryerson has a P/T 'Project Management in IT' course. It is 12*3hours course and after completing the course you will be eligible for the CAPM(Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP certificate. Please take this in a positive way.
Prior to getting your PMP certification, the 35 hours are known as contact hours, and not PDU (Professional Development units). It's only after you get your PMP that you need PDU's to keep your PMP alive.

I would suggest a few (2 to 3 atleast) reads of the PMBOK prior to the exam. Keep in mind the PMBOK alone is not enough, you need to supplement it with other material. I haven't checked pmcampus.com, so I cannot comment on it's quality. But if you search the net, you'll get tons of sites. There's a yahoo group - PMHUB, which a very good resource to ask questions and also for some study material. They have about 20,000 members. Tough Q's, but a real benchmark to know if you're prepared for the exam. Use it only when you think you're finally prepared, and you'll find out where you stand. I have a copy if you're interested.

Can anyone provide me the details for the approved 35 hr Project Management training available online. Was it approved by PMI substituting the class room course. Any help is really appreciated.

1. 35 contact hours - ie 35 hours of project management related education. It's like a 5 day course. (This can even be done online for like US$150)
