Taste and tipping are 2 different things..When you enjoy first you should be open for the later one to make it more fun..otherwise it forever leaves bad taste in mouth.

The reason was that the portion size was small for the price as compared to others ... So what s the point of good taste if my stomach is not full ............ or if I have to buy twice ...

Plus the place was very crammed & congested .... No tips did not affect my experience ... in fact I did not realize that till some one mentioned on this forum later that Guru Luxmi charges mandatory 15% tip on the bill ..

Yeah .. sure the overall experience did leave a bad taste and we have never visited again ...On the contrary @ Udupi , we experience good quality , quantity , price & service and continue to frequent .
