I uploaded a custom "avatar" for this board. That got assigned as "My avatar". Now I want to change it but I am not able to do it. At most I can choose one of the default options on the list. IS it not possible to change the custom "avatar"? Can someone please advise?

You can do it by updating your profile in my profile>my setting> up load custom avatar.
You have seen most of the people using here custom avatar and you can do the same.

That is what I am trying to say. I tried changing my "avatar" by trying to upload a new one in "My Profile-My Settings". It just wouldn't take a new one. It seems to be stuck with the one I uploaded the first time. Help!

When you try to upload a custom avatar it takes you on a page where you would see these rules to upload a custom avatar;
[Avatar Rules
Your avatar can be maximum of 5000 bytes.
Only GIF & JPEG are allowed.
Your avatar can maximum dimensions of 75 x 75
Upload avatar / Path:
The path to the avatar on your local computer
or
Avatar URL:
The URL to your avatar ]
So this means that the 'avatar' you want to upload should be of these specifications and should either be on your computer in a file or at some site and you can enter the path there, when it asks you and you should be ok.

Yes. My "avatar" is well within the specs of 5K and size limits. It is on my hard drive as was the first one. Have you tried changing your avatar? Give it a try and I will appreciate it if you let me know the results.

Yes, I did it my self and that's what I was telling you from my own experience.
I previously had a different avatar 'jyoti' from the site which I had for more than 5 months. I only recently changed it to my own photo last month. The other thing that it should be either a jpg file or gif file.

And just to confirm that you can change even a custome avatar, you would see that I have changed it to the avatar which was being used by Mr. Chandresh so far.
