Thanks for all you inputs , I did book for the 1 day train tour , in October.
It is CAD 105.00 pp for the 1 day tour.

It takes a day's drive to reach there and a day to get back ( you have the bus option as well).

October beyond Thanksgiving is an iffy thing for colors ... Thanksgiving I m sure must be sold out .... Try Sept end in my opinion or Oct not beyond 6th .

My Daughter & Son in law, are landing here on 24th Sep, and last wk of Sept (Train tkt )is practically sold out, along with the Oct long week end tkts.

I hope for the best, and enjoy the scenery at least.

Looking for a travelogue from desi's who experienced Agawa tour before. I went thru the link but didn't get complete info. I understand tour starts from st. sue marie and travels north for around 8 hrs.

Is that 8 hrs one-way or return?

There seems to be a canyon. Is that the final stop? What is destination?

Most packages include 2 day accommodation. Is that in st. sue marie or near train's destination?

Hi Pokiri,
I have booked the train for a 8 hrs tour(to & fro)8am -6pm, starting from Sault Ste Marie , and returning the same day in the eve by 6 pm at Sault st marie.
Two days of accomodation is booked by me at the fairfields suites inn,
You may pm me , if you need any other info, although I have never been there before, I shall share whatever I know.
