Shouldn't the govt do something? Adopt the Israeli policy of knocking them out!!! In the meantime, we can all do something.
Stop buying their products. Let them go bust!!!

Ordinary people like you and me may not be in a position to launch counter-attacks. But we have the power to make them go bust.
Please know that out of every dollar we spend on 'their' goods a small percentage will be reinvested in killing innocent people around the world. That means, blood on our hands. 
That's the very least each of us can do.

I plan to stop shopping at Iqbal's in east york for groceries.
I am not aware of any other businesses run by pakistanis which I can avoid. Also, havent seen many 'made in pakistan' products in stores - maybe others can suggest.
My 2 cents.

India is a major buyer of Pakistani sugar. Even if the past incident happened, India still buying many things from Pak.
I remember when I was in Surat,Gujarat during 92-93 riots, people boycott to buy product from muslim's shop and there are many muslim owners shops on the main market. Within a week muslim leader called committee and give a statement to municiple corporation and other business leader to help them and asked people to buy stuff from them.
Even after Godhra-kand there were no any major riots happened in Surat. Because they learned from the past.
And I believed its best solution to boycott their product.
India should stop all trade with Pakistan and call for economic sanctions against Pakistan. Pakistan should be branded a terrorist state in the UN. A low intensity war should be started against Pakistan and all madarsas should be targeted.

Guys,
You are taking it too far. Is the common pakisthani our enemy ? is Islam our enemy ? Is the Pak. Govt. our enemy? or are the terrorists our enemy? I belive in the last tow.
I am sure that the average pakisthani hates terrorists as much as we do.
Their nation is on the verge of bankruptcy due to instability in the govt. and if the govt. crashes then there will be lawlessness in their country and even more terrorists will be out to get as much money from other countries as possible.
I belive as Desi's (Indian), we should try to get the Indian govt. to lobby with the pak. govt to keep the home grownn terrorists out of our side of the country. We should give them such a fitting reply that they would not dare to come near our border (as how they now fear China).
To do that we need solidarity and a strong govt. and not the puppet that we have now. We need to have a well equiped, strong, poilce and military force. Not the kind of bribe taking police we have now. We have such an inferior police / anti terror force and we decilne the help that Israel offers to end the hostage situation and we have Israeli casualities and Nariman house. Unless we have a solid shrewed politician / Military at the helm, we will continue to have more and more terror attacks and we canot do anything.
I remeber an incident when I went to India in 2003. I had a reservation from Chennai to Trichy (TN) on Train. In my compartment, there was an Army Jawan with a unreserved ticket and he randomly was sitting at an empty seat in the compartment. When the TTR came for the tickets, he found that the Jawan was with an unreserved ticket and he started to vulgarly and verbally abuse the Jawan saying that Jawans like him were morons. I felt really bad to see a common man say like that to a Jawan. Jawan's like him are the people who keep this country safe. When we citizens abuse people like that, then naturally the enemy has an always an upper hand. First we should change then force that change upon others.
Conclusion :
Hurting the common pakisthani and that too in Canada makes no sense. He is also a common man struggling to make a living in the Immigrant unfriendly Canada.
