My Son is going to start university from next year. He is a good student and so far getting about 90% average. He is little bit confuse about which line should he take and that confuse me as well. Just want to share with you to get your opinion.
His first choice is go in medical science (most interested as Dentist) and 2nd choice is IT. What I heard here that medical science will take about 8-9 years to become a Doctor or Dentist and also require a good amount of money. A very time consuming study and if for some reason he quits from studies, he is no where. IT, all big companies outsourcing their projects to other countries.
What your thoughts? or what other line should he focus or will be good in coming future.
Thanks
If you have the money and want to be in a professional capacity, just go for Medical / dentist.
On the other hand, IT is also very good. Though there is much outsourcing, IT will be strong in the coming years. No doubt about it. It will be a field which will never saturate and diversify into many branches. So go for IT, if you want to play safe and save money and also earn big to what was invested.
Hope this helps.
Peace by Murali.
