Sir ...do Diploma/ Degree anywhere in Canada, its better, certificate courses land you nowhere my personal experience..... except minimum wages
Hi kango
If you have done MBA from a top b school in India, try to enroll for courses in Universities here.
There is a major difference between Colleges and Universities here in Canada.
Suggest you do some more research before finalising the offer.

Hi,
I hv been told by my peers that gbc is a state run college... and this is a degree course so i presume tht GBC must be affliated to a univ.
hw imp is french as a second lang. req. for landin a job oppor. in toronto.
second, wt is condition of bankin industry in toronto post recession.
thx.
Hi Kango
Here to my knowledge there are no state run colleges...other CD's please correct me if I am wrong.
French is the second language here and knowledge of french will definitely open more doors.
post recession, jobs are filled by internal candidates mostly in the banking industry

To correct the Colleges are called community colleges, and are a grade above private colleges, http://www.canadian-universities.net/Community-Colleges/Ontario-Toronto.html
IF you want to study in community colleges study accounting in that college and you will be able to practice it in Canada and also earn your CGA. http://www.cga-online.org/
If you have done MBA in India why not do a MBA CMA course in Canada which can land you a lucrative career in North America.

Don't have high expectations after Gorge Brown course, Canadian securities Exam is for selling life insurance and Mutual Fund and gets you entry level positions here.
And dont be bothered about french if you are not thinking about joining a high level position in government.
