I am a Canadian citizen and have OCI visa. At present I am in India and have plan to apply for PAN card. Since I will be in India for few months and I want to use my Indian address to receive PAN card. After doing some research I have found that the application form to submit is 49AA instead of 49A for foreign national.
Since there will be nobody to receive PAN card in Canada and I just want to know if it is legal to provide my Indian address on PAN card application or I have to provide only my foreign country address?
It should not take time to get the PAN card. Give the Indian address as you will be there for couple of months.

Hi,
Both options are there.
The fees will be more if it is to be shipped to Canada.
If it is in India, the cost is peanuts.
Up to you to decide.

It will take approx 20 days. But my question was that if it is legal to provide Indian address as residential address or I have to provide only foreign address as I am not an Indian citizen.
Just for your information:
Pan Card in India for Indians cost Rs.105.
Pan Card for an NRI, who is out of India costs Rs 744.
All this is due to mailing charges. Any one who has to get one must plan on getting the same during their visit to India.
FH.
Thanks for the input.
I have option to provide foreign address as residential address and communication address as Indian address. If I put Indian address as residential address then they ask for address proof to be provided in my name. Since I have no document in India which shows address in my name and affidavit is also not accepted. So I will go with two addresses. I think for communication address there will not be any need of proof to be provided and I will check with that.
