Process of getting PR card for recent immigrants

I would like to know the process of getting PR card for landed immigrants.
I heard they required to take photographs at the airport (at the time of landing).

I remember they used the same photo on PR card which we provided during our PR application and our PR Card comes by mail at the address we provide at the airport in few months.
Has this process been changed recently ... ??
Do we now need to take photos at the airport for PR card ?
How much time do they now take to send PR card ?

I arrived on july 15th. The landing document photograph was attached and
I did not receive PR card.
