Dear OP,
If you are going to own the car, how come you will get a company number plate?
The Insurance cost mainly depends upon your driving experience and there is a very little portion which is influenced by make/model and other stuff.
The amount of time and effort you are spending on deciding the mode of your mobility and small appliances, I expect you must have a strong and flawless job plan. My suggestion for you is to make sure you have a practical and solid job plan. Get suggestions and plug the holes. Once you have a job, all these things will become immaterial. I am sure, after a year, you will laugh on your older posts – what you had discussed. When I was new to this country, I used to walk for over 45 minutes just to save 2 $ transit fare. Now I laugh on those saving tactics.
Once again, stay focus on your job plan and spend 95% of your time and effort on it. You may find lots of holes upon arriving here so try to find them out now and plug them up.

Agree Delhite, but I will seriously start job search after I finish my present contract and move to Canada for goods, and it will happen somewhere in March'2015, rather around two months before that so that by the time I reach Canada, hopefully start getting interview calls. Just my plan,..but my present 45 days trip is just to settle my family, get the G road license, submit tax returns, apply for child benefits, if possible to go for a 40 hrs security course. Please suggest if it would be good to get this 40 hrs corse, so that tomorrow when I need any survival job, I can apply for it rightaway. Please keep guiding me, thanks for guiding.
